Me a secret squirrel? Well maybe...

So at last a holiday! Thank the gods! Yes at the end of Jan 06 I will be in the Alpes! Now depending on my frame of mind I'll either be a hard core carving snow boarder, a sleek skier, or alternatively a hot toddy drinking apres bum. (I'm liking the thought of that last one especially.) There's going to be quite a bit of pressure to be doing the boarding thing. Primarily I'm going on what's billed as a boarding holiday, with seven watersport junkies who know nothing better than the wind in their hair and spray in their faces. So having told the gang that I will not be found dead or alive on a snowboard is quite an understatement. Every mention of the word boarding has led to the ultimate in show downs between the boarding (them) and ski'ing (me) as to which is "best". Now not being a closed minded individual I've actually been doing the opposite of what I've been saying. Yes you guessed it, I've been having snowboarding lessons for the last two months!!!
